Level 2: Developing and Maintaining the Singapore Halal Quality Management System (HalMQ)

In cooperation with Muis Halal Certification Strategic Unit,  this programme is recommended for Halal team leaders. It aims at assisting trainees to understand the concepts and requirements of the 10 principles of the HalMQ. At the end of the course, participants will learn how to prepare and document the HalMQ procedures.

Objectives:

At the end of this course, learners are able to understand:

  • Singapore Halal Quality Management System (HalMQ)
  • Framework for Halal Food Verification and traceability
  • Framework for Halal Food production
  • Data storage maintenance and retrieval system
  • Halal Certification Conditions

Learners are also able to:

  • Develop a Halal Quality Management System
  • Determine Halal recording-keeping system
  • Develop a Maintenance system for HalMQ

Course Requirements
It is compulsory to complete any of the following Level 1 courses to be able to take this Level 2 course:

  • Halal Foundation (For Supervisors) – Blended Learning
  • Halal Foundation (For Supervisors) – Full Online Learning
  • Halal Foundation (Operational Level) – English
  • Halal Foundation (Operational Level) – Malay
  • Halal Foundation (Blended Learning) – Asynchronous Learning & Classroom
